District I Championship, Leg 1
May 24
The Pines Lake Regatta was held May 24. It was rainy and cold with some fog all day. Winds varied from none to very light. This weather had been forecast all week and it had its effect on the turnout. Twelve boats registered. We hoped to better the 17 boats we had last year for this event, but it was not to be.
